4.3Any Credit not used within the validity period of its Session Pass expires and will not be refunded or extended, except under clause 4.4.
4.4If injury or illness stops you from attending, Soma will extend your Session Pass by the time you were unable to attend, as long as you ask before it expires and provide a doctor's note.
5. Gift Vouchers
5.1Gift Vouchers can be bought through the Website or the Booking System and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless stated otherwise on the voucher.
5.2To redeem a Gift Voucher, the recipient must register with Soma and accept these Terms and the Liability Waiver.

5.4Where a Gift Voucher is used towards a Membership, the Membership is subject to these Terms in full, including the minimum term in clause 3.2.
6. Payment
6.1All payments are taken through the Booking System. Prices are as shown in the Booking System at the time of purchase.
6.2You must book and pay for an Activity, using a Credit or otherwise, before attending it.
6.3If a Membership payment fails, Soma may suspend your ability to book until the payment is made. Your Membership and minimum term continue while a payment is outstanding.
6.4Except as set out in clause 7 or where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable.
6.5Soma is not responsible if your card issuer declines a payment, or for any fee your card issuer charges you.
6.6Promotional codes and introductory offers apply only to the products and dates stated, cannot be combined with other offers unless stated, and have no cash value.
7. Your consumer rights
7.1If you buy a Membership or Session Pass online, you may cancel it within 14 days of purchase by emailing hello@so-mastudios.com.
7.2If you book or attend any Activity during those 14 days, you are asking Soma to start providing the service straight away. Any refund will then be reduced to reflect the Activities you have booked or attended, charged at the per-class rate of your Membership or Session Pass.
7.3The First Visit Pass cannot be refunded once the Activity has been attended.
7.4To cancel under this clause, email hello@so-mastudios.com with a clear statement that you wish to cancel, including your name and the email address on your account. Any refund will be made to the payment method you used, within 14 days of the day you tell Soma.
7.5After 14 days, the other terms of clauses 3 to 6 apply.
7.6Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your right under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to services provided with reasonable care and skill. Any statement in these Terms that a payment is non-refundable applies only as far as the law allows.
8. Bookings and cancellations
8.1All bookings must be made through the Booking System. Activities are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have difficulty booking online, Soma's team may be able to help at the Studio.
8.2Cancellation. You may cancel a booking free of charge through the Booking System up to 24 hours before the Activity starts, and the Credit will be returned to your account.
8.3Late cancellation and no-shows. If you cancel less than 24 hours before an Activity, or do not attend, the Credit used for that booking is lost. For Members of The Collective, no fee is charged, but Soma may limit advance bookings for any Member who repeatedly cancels late or does not attend.
8.4Waiting lists. If an Activity is full, you may join its waiting list in the Booking System, and you may leave it at any time. If a place becomes available up to one hour before the Activity starts, the next person on the waiting list will be booked in automatically and notified through the Booking System. A booking made from the waiting list is subject to these Terms in the usual way, including clause 8.3, so if you can no longer attend, please leave the waiting list. Please do not join the waiting list for an Activity that overlaps with another Activity you have booked.
8.5Workshops, events and private sessions. Workshops, events, retreats and private sessions may have their own booking, payment and cancellation terms. Any such terms will be shown at the time of booking and apply in addition to these Terms.
8.6Late arrival. We understand that things happen. If you arrive after an Activity has started, please join quietly and your Instructor will help you settle in, unless it isn’t safe to join at that point. Please try to arrive on time, as repeated late arrival may mean you are not able to take part. On your first visit, please arrive at least 10 minutes early.
9. Changes by Soma
9.1Soma may change the timetable, Activities, Instructors, class sizes and facilities from time to time. Up-to-date details are published in the Booking System.
9.2If Soma cancels an Activity you have booked, any Credit you used will be returned to your account, or, if the Credit cannot be used before it expires, its validity will be extended or a refund given.
9.3Soma may close all or part of the Studio for safety, cleaning, maintenance or repair, or for reasons beyond its reasonable control. Soma will give notice of planned closures where it can.
9.4If Soma has to close the Studio or cancel Activities for an extended period, including for reasons beyond its reasonable control, it will take reasonable steps to limit the effect on you, such as extending the validity of Credits or pausing Memberships. If the disruption lasts more than 30 days, you may cancel any affected Membership or Session Pass and receive a refund for any period you have paid for in which Activities were not available.
10. Health and safety
10.1Before attending any Activity, you must accept the Liability Waiver and complete the health questions in the Booking System. The Liability Waiver forms part of your agreement with Soma.
10.2You must tell your Instructor before each Activity about any change to your health, and report any accident or injury at the Studio straight away.
10.3If you are pregnant, please tell us when you book and let your Instructor know before each Activity. You are welcome to take part in any Activity, and your Instructor will adapt movements for you. We recommend you check with your GP or midwife before starting or continuing exercise during pregnancy.
10.4If you have given birth in the last 12 weeks, or are recovering from surgery or injury, please check with your GP or another qualified medical professional before attending, and let your Instructor know so they can adapt movements for you.
10.5Soma may refuse, limit or stop your participation in any Activity if it reasonably believes your health or safety, or that of others, is at risk.
10.6Guidance given by Instructors is not medical advice. If you are unsure whether an Activity is suitable for you, please speak to your GP before booking.
10.7Instructors may use light touch to guide alignment or technique. You may decline touch at any time by telling your Instructor, and you must tell your Instructor straight away if any adjustment is uncomfortable or has gone as far as you wish.

12.3Soma may also end your Membership for any other good reason by giving you one month's notice. In that case, Soma will refund any amount you have paid for the period after your Membership ends, and the minimum term will not apply.
12.4You must not attend under the influence of alcohol or drugs. You will be refused entry in that case.

14.3Subject to clause 14.1, Soma's total liability to you in connection with these Terms will not exceed the total amount you have paid to Soma in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
14.4Your participation in Activities is also governed by the Liability Waiver.
15. Privacy, communications, photography and CCTV
15.1Soma collects and uses your personal information as set out in its Privacy Policy.
